TN State Report Card

The Tennessee Department of Education wants parents and community members to have easy-to-understand information about Tennessee schools. Over the course of a year, parents, educators, and community organizations provided feedback the helped the department develop a new Report Card that presents a dashboard of key information about every school and district in the state. For the first time, schools receive a rating on various metrics ranging from students' academic performance to how often students are missing school, which helps families have some context on how their school is doing. The Report Card also shows additional details about how all students and specific student groups are performing, and it now includes a Spanish translation.

Additional information about the new Report Card is available in the Resources box. The department will continue to improve this resource in future years based on input from families and users. Provide feedback on the Report Card here.
