I NEED TO STAY HOME IF

  • I have/had a fever of 100.4 or higher - must be fever free x 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medication before returning to school

  • I have/had vomiting within the past 24 hours - must be free from vomiting at least 24 hours before returning to school

  • I have/had diarrhea within the past 24 hours - must be free from diarrhea for at least 24 hours before returning to school

  • I have a body rash with itching or fever - must be free from rash, itching, fever and evaluated by a MD if needed

  • I have head lice - must be treated with appropriate lice treatment at home and check in with school nurse upon return to school

  • I have an eye infection with redness or itching and "crusty" drainage from eye - must be evaluated by MD before returning to school

  • I have been in the hospital or Emergency Dept or had surgery - must have a release from MD to return to school
