Bio
I have lived in Newport since I was 15 years old. My husband, Edwin, works for the State of Tennessee and attends ETSU. I have a Bachelor's degree in PreK -3rd grade and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have been married for 25 years and have three children. I taught PreK in Sevier County for one year and have been at NGS for the rest of my teaching career. I taught 1st grade for two years, Kindergarten for 10 years, and I'm back in 1st grade.
I attend Liberty Church of Cosby.
I have 3 children. Ty is married to Bailey. He attends ETSU and she is a licensed nail technician. Ali is attending ETSU to be a Child Life Specialist. Lucy just graduated from CCHS and is attending ETSU on the medical track. Life is busy!
I love to cook, travel and spend time at home with my family. I also love to sit on my back porch.
Teaching is my passion! I will love your child and teach them as my very own. I am looking forward to a great year!
