Bio

Hello! I'm Mrs. Chrisman.  I teach 6th grade math.  I've been teaching for four years.  I went to school at Tusculum College.  I played softball for Tusculum as well.  I have been married for four years and have two handsome boys.  They are three and one.  In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and reading books.  

Supply List

Grade 6 – Supply List (2019-2020)

 

This list covers all subjects for Grade 6, and students will need all required supplies on the first day of school. Please keep in mind that supplies, including backpacks, will need to fit inside student lockers.

 

Here's a Look at the Sixth Grade Supply List

 

* (2)- 1 1/2 inch three-ring binders (1 for math and 1 for social studies)

* (1)- 1 inch three-ring binder for social studies

* Pencil pouch to clip into math binder

* 3 Packages of tab dividers (with pockets). One pack for math and two packs for social studies.

* 6- Composition books [science (1), math (1), social studies (1), and ELA (3)].

* Loose-leaf, Wide-ruled Notebook Paper

* Individual set of headphones to use on Chromebooks (any brand will do, but headphones not ear pods please). Please refrain from sending expensive sets. Students are responsible for his or her own property. What worked best in the past was students who purchased a few pair of the cheap ones like those sold for $1 at the Dollar Tree.

* locker shelf (optional, but recommended)

(No spiral notebooks – at all!)

 

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS WILL GO TO CLASSROOM COMMUNITY USE AND DISTRIBUTED TO STUDENTS, AS NEEDED, DURING CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES:

* 1 pack of #2 Lead Mechanical Pencils

* 2 packs of #2 pencils

* Art supplies for classroom use: crayons and colored pencils

*(8) glue sticks

* (2) tape REFILLS for office/scotch tape

* (1) box of staples

* 3 boxes of Kleenex

* 1 large or 2 small tubes of Lysol wipes

* Box of Ziploc bags:

         Boys: Quart size

         Girls: Gallon size

- bright neon-colored copy paper, white card stock, band aids, bright-colored sticky notes
